In the foreground are sight seers on horseback, in the middle ground West Point and the majestic river dotted with sail boats and steam ships, and in the distance, the rolling hills of the Hudson highlands including Crow's Nest, Storm King and Breakneck. Dramatic clouds frame the top of the scene.
Engraved by WM C Robertson 50 Cedar St. NY. Large folio, framed size 28 x 23". In the original handsome dark wood and gilt rimmed frame. Minor fox spotting below the title; one small area of discoloration in the sky. Very good condition. Item #24475
