Poughkeepsie, NY: 1909. Commemorative keepsake recording the toasts given at the banquet in honor of Governor Charles Hughes, at Nelson House, Dutchess County, on October 4th 1909. Two hand printed pages bound in full brown leather stitched at top of hinge, with gold gilt title at front cover, and embossed seal of Dutchess County.

The Hudson Fulton Celebration was the celebration of the tercentenary of the discovery of the Hudson and the first use of steam in the navigation of the River.

8vo. Menu (offering Krug Private cuvee champagne, sherry and sauterne) and Toasts. Printed on thick stock, in full suede covers. Some gold tarnishing. Very good + condition. Item #24643
