United Kingdom: Ca. 1935. Amusing watercolor illustration of 4 animals in a monkey chauffeured old style car, waiting at a service station as an attendant cleans the bonnet. The passengers are a dog, cat and kangaroo, with the kangaroo lounging out the window of the bright orange vehicle.

Signed in white at the lower right, H.R. Haywood. 6 x 8". Vivid color, traces of black album paper adhered on verso. Very good condition. Item #24688
