Original hand colored copper engraving depicting the 3 numbered animals on one sheet, with the female opossum grasping a fruit bearing vine and carrying 3 joeys in her pouch, and the kangaroo in profile. Engraved by J. Pass, a British engraver active 1793-1828, after a work by Albertus Seba.

5 1/4 x 8 1/4". Small period ink stain in left margin. Very good condition. Item #24958
