Beach Scene plate from 'Revolving Pictures a Novel Colour Book with Dioramic Effects'.

London/New York: London : Ernest Nister ; New York : E.P. Dutton, 1892. Charming revolving circular picture which can be moved with a ribbon to show a new scene, with printed lines of verse below:
"Here you see some little folks playing in the sand, Turn the picture, you will see them dancing hand in hand".

The beach scene has been mounted on stiff board with easel mount on verso, to be viewed as a picture. Period mount, the image laid down with period paper borders. The original ribbon tab is intact. 8 x 9", laid down on stiff board 10 x 10 1/2". OCLC: 9010520 records 6 copies. Good + overall. Item #25042
