The complete suite of plates, lacking the cloth portfolio. 30 sketches made by the noted Boston architect, artist and designer during a European tour. Schweinfurth is noted for his design for the American Fine Arts Society Building in New York City, the Brookline Police Station, and buildings on the Wellesley College campus.

Plates include architectural sketches of details of cathedrals in France: Paris, Poitiers, Angouleme, Lamballe, as well as French manor houses & chateaux; Italy: Venice, Florence, Urbino; and Spain: Cordoba.

Lacking the portfolio, otherwise complete, with title page and 30 plates. Title page slightly toned at left and right margins, plates slightly ruffled at edges, otherwise bright and clean. OCLC: 1512145. Good + condition. Item #25142
