Tokyo: Tokyo Printing Co, nd ca. 1913. Wraps. Scarce guide book to the famous Japanese hotel, complete with the color folding map in the rear pocket. The Kanaya Hotel is the oldest western style resort hotel in Japan, located in Nikko in the mountains north of Tokyo.

In the very attractive original color printed paper wrappers, showing a Japanese woman in kimono pointing, with a young girl at her side, framed by maple leaves. The large folding map printed in red and green, and showing railroads, roads, rivers, temples, mountains and foot paths. Titled "Kanaya Hotel Nikko, Map of Nikko Japan" and extending from Komanago San in the north to the Ashio Copper Mine in the south; Shirane San in the east, and the Northern Rail way in the east.

32mo, 28 pp, 2 folding printed b&w photographic plates, printed in text photographic illustrations, folding color map in rear pocket.
