Illustrations include the author, portfolio under his arm, stepping into a sampan in Shanghai, riding in a ricksha, lounging on the deck of the liner as it enters the port of Hong Kong, street scenes, Chinese junks, a Chinese dinner in Canton, theatre, a Shanghai police officer, and one scene of Manila, Philippines. Captions in French and English.
