The first page with a quote reprinted from the St. Louis 'Clinical Record' which records Joseph Lister's ("the leader of modern surgery") recommendation. The testimonial at page one dated Sandhurst, Australia, August 1881. Pages 2 through 4 with printed extracts from the American Medical Journal; the St. Louis Medical Brief; the Berliner Klinischen Wochenschrift; and the St. Louis Clinical Record.

Front page records American general agents in San Francisco, Baltimore and the District of Columbia. With the company's trademark printed at the first page; text printed in 3 columns on pages 2 through 4. Printed on sheet 17 x 11"; folds to roughly 8 1/2 x 11". Period fold flattened, slight chipping top corner, not affecting text. Not found in World Cat. Very good overall. Item #25596
