Victoria: Pre 1936 & 1958-1971. Four early unused beer labels for beer bottles from the Ballarat Brewing Co. Pty. Ltd. & its later iteration, the Ballarat Brewing Compy. Ltd. The Double Stout label is slightly larger, and is dated pre-1936. The later labels including Ballarat Bertie, the advertising logo used on labels from 1935 to 1971. In 1971, they were acquired by Carlton & United, and after this date, labels printed Carlton & United.
Ovals approximately 3 x 4". Color lithographs printed in combinations of yellow, red, black, blue, green and brown. Labels include Lager, Invalid Stout, Bitter and Double Stout. The earlier Double Stout label uses the early logo of a phoenix with a flag in its beak.
