Sendai, Japan: North Japan College Industrial Home Press, April 16, 1918. W.W.I era appeal letter printed in Japan on the campus press, and signed in ink by the president of the North Japan College, D. W. Schneder.
Schneder makes an appeal here for building permanent facilities for the College Department, citing the rising cost of building due to the continuing war; he notes that he and his wife have raised approximately $49,000 toward the goal. Of the recent Literary Course graduates, Schneder boasts of several who have recently been employed by the Japan Mail Steamship Company, "which has lines over the whole world".
