The three reports are:
1. "Report of Lieut. J. W. Abert, of His Examination of New Mexico, in the Years 1846-'47"; pp 1-416, 29 lithograph plates including a map, and 12 plates of flora.

2. "Report of Lieut. Col. P. St. George Cooke of His March from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to San Diego, Upper California", pp 549 - 563, 1 large folding map.

3. "Journal of Captain A. R. Johnston, First Dragoons", pp 567 - 614, illustrations & maps in text.

The two folding maps are entitled, "Map of the Territory of New Mexico" & "Sketch of Part of the March & Wagon Road of Lt. Colonel Cooke, from Sante Fe to the Pacific Ocean, 1846-7". The first folding map torn, but complete.

Tall 8vo, 614pp. Two folding maps, the first torn, but complete. Three quarter brown gilt leather and marbled boards. Tanning of the text pages, but the lithographic views in very good condition, some light browning on some of plates. Fox spotting at title page, some fox spotting in the text. OCLC: 1049246644.
