September 1909. Three large album pages and one scrap, of pressed Australian wildflowers, likely made by a Perth resident in the early 1900s. The album pages is entitled in manuscript, "Wild Flowers of Western Australia", and signed in ink in the lower corner, F. Cliff.
The flowers, loosely arranged in a heart shape, are entitled in ink at the center of the arrangement, "Kangaroo Paws. From Collie, W. A., gathered in early Sept. 1909"; and "Kangaroo Paws. From various parts of W. A. Gathered in Sept. 1909". The small scrap (approximately 4 x 6 1/2") is untitled, with pencil notations 205, 206 & 207.
Ancestry locates a Norman Franklin Cliff residing in Perth from 1914 to 1917, and again in 1919 and 1921. In 1925 he is in Fremantle.
