The print depicts O'Connor writing at her desk, typing away on her typewriter as a peacock perches in the moonlight on a branch outside the window. Titled and signed below the print, in pencil.
McCurdy (1942 - 2016) was a noted American author and illustrator, recognized for his trademark b&w woodblock engravings. He was also the founder of Penmaen Press in Boston.
A fine copy handsomely mounted for presentation in a large maroon mat by a New York literary agent, with printed title on verso. 5 1/2 x 6 3/4", mat 16 x 19 1/2" Very good + condition. Item #26153
