Ghent, Belgium: Ca. 1842. Intricately designed porcelain card of manufacturer of billiard tables, Kohaut Drieghe. Porcelain cards were a special type of 19th century card, produced by a lithographic procedure, and painted by hand.

Printed in gilt lettering on black background, and ornamented with winged angels above the billiard table and ornate borders surrounding the firm's name and address. Printed below the illustration of the billiard table is "Mention honorable à exposition of the national industry à Bruxelles, 1841". The complete title, "Kohaut Drieghe Fabricant & Garnisseur de Billards. Tient magasin the furniture. Rue de Bruxelles, N ° 87, Gand".
