Trade card featuring a chromolithograph illustration with an African American playing the banjo in the log cabin used as the display in the Virgiia Exposition in which the Walter Wood Machinery Co won the first prize gold medal. The image shows an African American banjo player seated in the doorway, animal pelts nailed to the front wall and a Woods' Horse Rake seen at the left.

The verso printed with advertising text and b&w illustrations of 4 Woods' machines, the binder, the mower, the horse rake and the reaper. Over stamped in red with the name of the local agent, John J. McCann. 6 x 3 1/2" Very good condition. Item #26244
