HRH Miriam Kapili Likelike Kekaukuohi (1851 -- 1887) was the sister of King David Kalakaua and Mother of Crown - Princess Victoria Kauilani Kalaninuiahilakalapa Kawekiu-i-Lunalilo. Princess Likelike was raised in Hilo but came to Honolulu with the court. She was known for her songs and poetry.
