Edinburgh: 1839. A pair of engraved class tickets made out to Thomas E. Stallybrass. The first certifies that Mr. Thomas Edwd Stallybrass has attended daily visits to patients at the infirmary for three months, and signed J. A Lawrie, Surgeon. The second card is signed by Lawrie and Andrew Buchanan, certifying that Stallybrass has attended "Clinical Lectures on the cases of surgical Patients" from November 1839 to May 1840, and is signed by Lawrie and Andrew Buchanan. This card has a fine engraving of the Royal Informary on the verso, drawn and engraved by J. Haldane.
Both cards engraved in a variety of fonts. Printed on heavy card stock. 4 1/2 x 3". A little age toning but pleasant. Very good overall. Item #26398
