France: 1913-30's. Pamphlet. Charming decals for little girls, images & text inspired by Art Nouveau design. Images include a small boy reading a book on a train, the seaside, jumping in the water, trying to net fish or crabs, feeding a horse, riding a rocking horse, a toy canon, etc. Decals in perfect condition, wrapper a bit chipped. All decal sheets are complete. Pamphlet 5 1/4 x 6 1/4", with concertina pages 23 1/4 x 5". Tan paper wrappers with blue & red illustration and text. Front cover detached but present. Franc-Nohain was an active illustrator of children's books and illustrated some fashion plates for the extraordinary Gazette du Bon Ton. Very good condition. Item #26699
