Nakamura: Yokohama Nursery Co., Ltd., November 1907. Paperback. A striking nursery catalog, illustrated by 42 full color chromolithographed plates of lilies in every color imaginable. Unfortunately, damp damage affects the covers, title, contents and to a lesser degree, the first 7 plates. The other 35 plates are in pristine condition.
The company has a long and venerable history, opening a branch in San Francisco in 1890, New York in 1898, London in 1907 and still going today.
Small 4to, string tied, color illustrated wrappers, with table of contents in English and Japanese on last page. Cover dusty with pencil marks. Chips to lower left cover corner and first few pages. Early damp as described above. Impressive images of lilies. OCLC: 33500797. Item #26811
