Besides the fine condition of the locally printed guide, there are many wonderful advertisements for local Penang industries including one for a vendor of Korean Ginseng, rubber chests, and Lam Tong Company Importers of - All Kinds of Best Australian Flour:" The rear cover features an ad for Ford cars, trucks and tractors through Wearne Bros, the vehicles made in Canada.
