Lawson Whitlock, Belltrees NSW 3.5.08. The book introduction states that Jackson sold the entire collection recorded in this book to H. L. White. With the bookplate of Hubert Whittell, the noted Western Australian ornithologist, "Whittell Ornithological Library" who wrote the first handbook of W.A. birds.

The collection was the result of a life long passion for tree climbing and collecting (24 years). The result was 679 entries recorded drawer by drawer with the details and circumstances of their being collected.
