Boston: Dana Estes, Nd (1900). Edition Magnifique. Hardcover. A handsome set of Hugo, the "Edition Magnifique", limited to 26 lettered copies, copy G. Printed on parchment paper with two sets of plates. Complete in 30 vols, title page in red and black. Full green morocco, spine in six compartments, spine and boards gilt ruled and decorated with a fleur de lis design. Full morocco doublures in green and maroon with gilt flower and fleur de lis border. Maroon moire silk endpapers. Gilt top edge, other edges untrimmed. The set is not numbered continuously on the spine. The spines are uniformly and very lightly sunned, with a pleasing appearance.
