China: 1890s. Ephemera. The Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company was founded in 1836. By the 1890s, voyages from Australia to China departed every two weeks. The first class fare was £60 - £70 and second class was £35 - £40.
6 1/2 x 3 7/8", unused, black type and decoration on tan background, gummed. Half inch closed tear at top. Very good. Item #27257
