New York: C. R. Gibson & Company, 1923-1925. A school photograph and souvenir album, which was lovingly put together and shows a very detailed collection of remembrances including b&w photographs, programs, hand written notes, newspaper clippings, pressed flowers, calling cards, ticket stubs, personal messages, letters etc.

Thelma Helen Wikstrom [1902-1995] from Chattanooga, TN attended the General Assembly's Training School for Lay Workers then Union Theological Seminary, both in RIchmond, VA from 1923-1925. She arrived there after the death of her widowed mother; one can appreciate how important the friendships and relationships she formed at ATS must have been to her.

She includes many b&w photographs of faculty, friends, Class of 1923, missionaries headed to Brazil, Japan, Africa, Korea, grades, poems, many messages from her female friends from Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas,Virginia, Louisiana. After graduation, she moved to Louisville, Kentucky to be a Pastor's Assistant at the Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church.

She married Rev. Dr. James Venable Logan on May 26, 1926. At the back of the book, she wrote some family history - dates of her parent's passing, her own marriage and the dates of her siblings' marriages, and births of two children, Chester and Robert.

The blank album was given as a gift to Thelma from her friend Eunice in September 1924.

9x6x2" album with 111 photographs ranging in size from 1x1" to 3x8". Tan embossed covers with decorative gilt "School Memories" on front. "ATS" hand written above title. Pages unnumbered, spine missing, binding is holding. Item #27398
