Wonderful photographs of Harlem life, mostly by Cartier-Bresson, including Billiards on Lenox Avenue, Sunday church, a portrait of black women in fabulous hats, 2 of Louis Armstrong. 8vo, 187pp. 48pp of text in French; at the end, there are individual descriptions of each photograph. Stamped Zwiazek Polskich Federalistow/Paris on title page. Original text wrappers with b&w pictorial jacket, a little browned speckling on spine, and spine tips chipped, binding loose, otherwise clean internally. Good + overall. Item #27409
