Jell-O Jungle Coloring Book.
Np: Jello, Nd, c. 1960. Paperback. Promotional pamphlet for Jello (or Jell-O as the company prefers). The inside cover tells the tale of the children on a rainy day, coloring in this book. And later, "like good children they ate up all the good things Mommie put on their plates. But best of all they liked the shiny, beautiful Jell-O." The illustrated animals are all eating or smacking their lips over their Jello, including the Kangaroo Mom, holding a plate of molded Jello, the joey licking his lips and reading a "bank book", which is strange. Other animals include a leopard, polar bear, hippo, whale, bluebirds, "wildcat", lion, octopus, turtle, etc. Sml. 8vo, 32pp, decorative wrappers, the cover including a number of the animals within. Undated, but circa 1960. A tiny rubbed spot on the back wrapper otherwise in perfect condition. Fine. Item #27537
