1925. Album disbound. A photograph album with title hand written in white ink on front, showcasing William and Alice Osborn's trip to the Middle East in 1925.

92 photographic images including 11 photo postcards by the American Company of Jerusalem. Most of the images are snapshots of people and scenic views taken by the family, several with the Osborn's in the view, also a few professional shots that are not identifiable from the front. One shot of Alice with 4 smiling children.

William Church Osborn was a lawyer, graduate of Princeton and Harvard Law, and eventually ran the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad the Picacho Mining Corporation, the Tucson, Cornelia and Gila Bend Railroad Company, the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton Railroad, and was the chairman of the executive board of the Texas and Pacific Railroad. Osborn was married to philanthropist and social reformer Alice Clinton Hoadley Dodge (1865–1946). His older brother was Henry Fairfield Osborn, a paleontologist who served as president of the American Museum of Natural History for twenty-five years.(Wikipedia)

Some water damage on the two lower photos on the second page, some pencil titles on the back of some loose views, otherwise besides some curled corners the album is in good plus condition.
