1910. Hardcover. A vernacular album of New England and Canada with 48 silvertone snapshots mounted two to a page. Numerous photos of shipping line boats, all captioned in white below with the date 1910. The album has been assembled by Edward Paget Schofield (1877-1967). Three are in Quebec waters from S/S Virginian; Thomson liner Cairona (x2); Allan liner Tunisian; on board the Dundurn Toronto - Montreal; Hamburg American S/S Prince Oscar; German liner Bethania in Boston.
It also has 2 baseball photos of games in progress - Harvard v Cornell and Chicago v Boston. There is also a photo of Barnum and Bailey's circus in Boston of horses in a parade. Album 9 1/2 x 6", small photos measuring 3x4". Bound in green pebbled green buckram with gilt "Photographs" on the font board. Very good condition. Item #27852
