Westminster, London: Sold by W. Marsden at the Lamb, Corner of Bow-Street, Covent-Garden, 1768. First printing. Henry Martin has been taken into custody charged with the theft of a shoe buckle and breast plate from a Mr David Dunn and will be interrogated on Wednesday the 16th of September, 1768. Before the American Revolutionary war, British convicts were often sent to the United States.

The preprinted form from "Westminster to wit. To the Governor of Tothill-Fields Bridewell". The document has been signed by Thomas Kynaston with his seal. The form was "Sold by W. Marsden at the Lamb, Corner of Bow-Street, Covent-Garden." 6 3/4 x 8 1/4:, wax seal present under folded corner, old folds, a bit of foxing. Very good condition. Item #27941
