Hopeful author pitches to Hollywood executive at Warner Brothers.

Florida: 1934. Two manuscript letters from Irving Bacheller [1859 - 1950] to Harry Lichtig [1876 - 1951] who represented Warner Brothers. Bacheller was an American journalist and author, and according to Wikipedia the founder of the first modern newspaper syndicate in the U.S.

Bacheller suggests that his novel "The Scudders: a Story of Today" would be worthy of a film.

Two letters on folded letterhead from The Barclay in New York, and Gate o'The Isles in Florida in November and December 1934 respectively. One envelope hand addressed, franked from Grand Central Annex. 5 1/4 x 6 3/4", 5 3/4 x 7 1/2:, envelope 5 1/2 x 7 1/2" Very good condition. Item #27951
