c. 1910. Two b&w silver gelatin photographic images of Samoan young men. One wears a belt and loin cloth, arm wraps, with flower decoration in his hair, and upper arms. The second image is a young man with beaded necklace, drape around his lower half and arm bands and flower decoration in his hair. On verso, evidence of having been removed from a photograph album, in pencil "Samoa" and numbers V313 and V315. Images 3 1/4 x 5 1/2", b&w, very good condition. Item #28042
