Includes an article on traveling up the Hudson, with a section devoted to West Point, "... the charms of the place are scarcely to be surpassed. The hotel is always full of good company in the season. Mr. Cozens keeps a table for the officers, and is permitted to add as many guests as his house will hold." (p39).

8vo, black half calf binding in somewhat rubbed condition, slight fox spotting throughout. With a small engraved paper nameplate of Henry W. Eastman at the front paste down, below a contemporary list of titles in manuscript, laid down; Eastman's signature at the ffep and title page. Eastman was a Hempstead Long Island lawyer.
