Venice: 1697. A globe gore of the Dutch discoveries in the Spice Islands, Papua New Guinea and Australia from the northwest Cape to the Gulf of Carpentaria around Weipa. There is also reference made to discoveries by van Colster in the Arnhem and Carstensz in the Pera in 1623.
