Frank Foster is the pseudonym of Daniel Puseley (1814-82), an English author and public speaker on political and literary subjects who spent time in Australia for his health in the 1850s. Most interesting is the 158pp appendix at the back, "A Colonial Directory; including Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand." for 1862.
