Rockefeller was later to die in New Guinea, and the magnificent ethnographical art wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is dedicated to him. First edition, second issue with photographs correctly placed in 2 blocks at the beginning & end of the book, which corresponds correctly to the contents page, but this is NOT a Book Club Edition. Originally priced at $7.50. Original black cloth boards, black printed dj very slightly rubbed at spine extremes, sml. closed chip in rear panel, vg/vg. The photographic portraits are quite stunning.
