Cabinet card of General Sherman, Civil War general.
1870. Cabinet card portrait, albumen print, with title printed below in gold. Head and shoulders of Sherman in uniform, but taken after the war, depicting a somewhat older man. 4 1/4 x 6 1/2", image 3 1/2 x 5 1/4". Obviously enjoyed by some collector as there are four pin holes, one on each corner, a little faded. Otherwise very good. Item #8671
