After 20 months on the island, the author & some of his men sailed a 13 foot dinghy to New Zealand where they dispatched a ship for the rest of the crew. (Shades of Shackleton and "Endurance"!) A wonderful survival narrative not in Huntress. Australian edition published in 1865 in paper wrappers. This is the first and only English edition. Item #8865
