Fascinating collection of Lindbergh & aviation ephemera.
A collector's lifelong accumulation of Lindbergh & aviation ephemera, including postcards, sheet music, can labels, stevengraphs, programmes, etc. There are 47 postcards of Lindbergh, with the "Spirit of St. Louis", with his mother, and various dignitaries, including Hoover, famous bull fighters, French Prime Ministers, etc. There are 17 real photo cards, the majority American manufacture, but some Swedish, German, French. There are also Lindbergh Souvenir Air Mail Cards, from Milwaukee 1927 & 28 with special Lindbergh Postmarks, with Lindbergh 10 cent stamp. Advertising for Milwaukee Journal newspaper; commemorative of NY Paris flight 1927 in color. There are 18 or so pieces of Lindy associated sheet music, and 20 other aviation related sheet music, including Amelia Earhart and various German flying aces. Some items retain the original prices paid by the collector, as much as $165 for one postcard. Item #11962
