Gone Away! Old Coachman "Now Miss Ellen! Mill Ellen! You know what your Pa Said! You was to take the greatest care of Jerry!"

London: Thos. Agnew & Sons, 1865. Rather nice, large lithograph printed in color, showing a young woman about to jump a hedgerow on her horse, with the "Old Coachman" reproaching her. Miss Ellen (riding English) replies "So I will Robert! and that's why I'm taking him off the nasty hard road poor thing!" A hunt is going on in the background. Printed one one sheet, mounted on stiff card, which bears the title. Card is browned with a bit of marking and some minor abrasions. Image has a couple of minor faults. Overall, nice large riding print with a strong feminist component. The publishing information & date are not printed on this impression. Item #14024
