Sydney: 1867. Policy for Eight Hundred Pounds, with the following description: "On the following property in the dwelling house occupied by her situate in William Street, between Riley & Crown Streets, built of stone or brick, slated & adjoining similar buildings on one side & a shingled building on the other" It then lists linen & wearing apparel, printed books, plate, wines & liquors in private use, china, glass & earthen made, and the amounts of coverage for each category. Signed at the bottom by the three directors.

Large policy, 12 3/4 x 18 3/4". Name of policy holder excised, with small opening approx. 2" wide, and a paper patch extending to the right edge of the policy. One horizontal and two vertical folds, slt rubbed at folds, small amount of tape at horizontal fold, o/w good. Item #14541
