French food company trading card advertising chicory (La Belle Jardiniere brand) with an illustration of the gates to the Imperial Palace in Peking, also with a coat of arms and the portrait of a Chinese woman. Lille, not dated, ca. 1890. 4 1/4 x 2 3/4" with advertising copy on the back. Colors bright and fresh; very good. Item #14618
