Includes Burma, Pegu (both Myanmar), Siam (Thailand), Cochin China and Tonking (Vietnam), Cambodia, Malaya, Malacca, Sincapore (Singapore). An early owner has carefully marked the railway from Rangoon to "Pvee or Proine", possibly Pyay today and from Calcutta north to Darjeeling. The colophone reads London. Published by James Wyld, Charing Cross, East, (with the date removed from the plate, but possibly 1852). Printed area 34.5 x 41cm, within larger platemark and additional margins. Steel engraving with original hand color, unfolded. Plate 24 from an atlas, unfolded edition. Very good condition. Item #15464
