Paris: Gihaut Frères, 1825. This print, with the caption, "Mon cher!...c'est cha'mant!" ("My dear! It's charming!") appeared in Hippolyte Bellangé's fifth album, published in 1825, which contained a set of lithographic sketches (croquis) published under Gihaut in Paris. A scene in an artist's atelier, with an appreciative customer admiring the artist's work on an easel, with the artist standing behind, and his box of paints on the floor. 10 x 13". Age spots in borders around image, o/w very good. Item #16936
