Pocket timetable, advertising heavily for passengers for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts through line to New England, offering "The Lowest Fare $2.00", on Pullman cars from Chicago to Boston, without change; also express trains between Chicago and Buffalo and New York. Between 3 1/2" wide and 7" tall, folding open 6 times to 14 tall x 24 3/4" wide with attractive large b&w map, showing Chicago in the west and as far east as New Brunswick, with the Grand Trunk line from Chicago to Quebec, with branch lines extending down to Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Portland. Large loop of the Intercolonial Railway across the top of New Brunswick to Halifax. To the right of the map, two elegant engravings of the Pullman cars: a sleeping car with curtained compartments, and dining car with highly ornate interior. Cover panel with designation at lower left corner: "409-July '82". One small chip at lower corner below this designation. Very good condition. Item #17485
