Boston: Franklin Press, Rand, Avery & Co, 1880. Scarce chromolithographic advertising card for the Boston to Melbourne and Sydney voyage on the "Titan", an American clipper ship of 1229 tons, with Captain Norris at the helm: "The Magnificent A1 clipper Ship, Titan. This fine vessel is a very fast sailer, her first voyage being hence to San Francisco in 120 Days". Printed for Henry W. Peabody & Co's Australian Line. The agents in Melbourne are Messrs. Newell & Co. Color lithograph, printed in black, red, gold & purple, with a color logo of Peabody & Co. at the top of the card. 3 7/8 x 6 3/8" Very good condition. Item #18585
