Germany: No date, ca 1780. Lovely 18th century copperplate engraving with period handcolor of butterfly/moth. Approx. 8x10 1/2". Most likely from Johan Cristoph Esper's "Die Schmetterlinge in Abbil-dungen nach der Natur mit Beschreibungen", published between 1777 and 1801. Title of this print "Papilion. Exotic, Tab. V" illustrating the Glaucus and Polydorus species. Very good condition. Item #19340
