Hardcover. 105 full page stunning engraved plates of the English Gothic architectural details of York Minster, which contains the world's largest intact collection of Medieval stained glass. York Minster is the second largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, begun in 1227 and taking more than 250 years to complete. The edifice displays the development of Gothic architecture from Early English to the Perpendicular Period. The volume includes engravings of the interior of the Chapter House, and the stained glass.

Three quarter brown calf with brown & red marbled boards. Gilt title, raised bands, gilt rules at spine. Boards and spine rubbed. Internally, top of inner hinges starting, some loss to paper at top of hinges; scattered foxing throughout. Folio, 105 engraved plates of details and ornament, not paginated. OCLC: 12575100.
