Chromolithograph advertising card for French chocolate maker, illustrated with map of New Caledonia and an oval inset of a waterfall titled "Cascade Pres Canala". The map of the island with the principal towns indicated, and the main route in red. Within a floral decorative border, the title printed in red. Text in French on verso, with information on the colony, including the fact that Capt. Cook landed there in 1774, and finding it similar to Scotland, named it "Nouvelle Caledonie". 5 1/2 x 3 1/2" Very good condition. Item #21077
