Programme notes for 'The War Requiem, Op. 66', which was composed by Benjamin Britten in 1961-1962 and performed for the consecration of the new Coventry Cathedral, which was rebuilt after the original cathedral was bombed in World War II. The Programme Note, written by Alec Robertson, notes that Britten intersperses Latin from the Mass for the Dead, with nine of Wilfred Owen's war poems. Owen was a poet and WWI soldier who died in 1918 at age 25. Small 4to, 8pp, including cream colored wrappers. Title in black printed on the front wrapper, staple bound. OCLC: 16416929.
